Honestly, didn't think the reason to switch after 12 years of paid sub would be this but this might be it. Dear community members, I am asking a super basic question today, but nevertheless cannot find the information after all research I have done: I am using v1 and I still have Dropbox folder in my Home folder (default location confirmed during fresh install, on new computer) and I was expecting to see the behavior change to the new. I have not experienced problems like others with dropbox not starting up, but whoever I have dropbox sync something it is either perpetually indexing or downloading it. The official responses in this thread are embarrassing. I have upgraded to Monterey 12.01 but ever since Im having problems with dropbox not syncing properly. I have my files on the computer, BUT with the icon at the top bar is always greyed out. I've never had problems with Dropbox connections before but on this freshly installed MacBook, it keeps connecting endlessly. It's running the latest version of Monterey. Dropbox doesn't support Apple Silicon natively yet and has no current public plans to. I recently upgraded to a MacBook Pro with M1 processor.
